The Alvarado Heritage & Preservation Foundation was created to preserve, promote, and protect the rich history and heritage of Alvarado, Texas.
Our Museum
There are 18 locations within the boundaries of the Alvarado I.S.D. that have a historical landmark designation by the Texas Historical Commission.

We are in the process of restoring and renovating the 108 year old C.H. Park Hardware Wagon Barn which will house the Alvarado Heritage Center Museum that will showcase our early beginnings as well as Alvarado's agricultural heritage.
